The first floor of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries headquarters building is under construction due to flooding. The licensing section has been temporarily moved to the second floor with limited staff, space and equipment.
Office hours remain 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Due to construction and the limited staff, space and equipment we anticipate longer wait times for customers. Customers not served by 4:15 will need to return another day.
To save travel expenses and avoid long wait lines, we recommend renewing your licenses by mail or online.
