Tune in on Wednesday June 6th at 7PM for LPB's Special Program "Zooisiana" Featuring Whooping Cranes and the Current Reintroduction Effort in Louisiana

LPB GOES BEHIND THE SCENES AT FOUR LOUISIANA ZOOS ON JUNE 6

Louisiana Public Broadcasting travels to BREC's Baton Rouge Zoo, the Alexandria Zoological Park, the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans and the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo in Monroe for a new special called Zooisiana premiering Wednesday, June 6 at 7PM on the six-station LPB network.

Producer Donna LaFleur and Videographer Rex Q. Fortenberry show the unique animals housed at the zoos along with the efforts by the zoos to help preserve endangered species in Louisiana and around the world.

The program will also stream live on the LPB website: www.lpb.org so anyone with a computer may watch the program as it is happening, beginning at 7PM, on June 6.
