CD-ROM HOME STUDY COURSE

* CONTACT the La. Dept. of Wildlife & Fisheries to get your CD-ROM home study course.

* Install the CD-ROM into the correct drive in your computer. From the ?START? menu type: D:\install.exe (where ?D? is your CD-ROM drive).

* Follow the instructions as the program begins.

* You will need to enter a username and password to login.

* As you navigate through each chapter and section of the course you will be quizzed on its contents.  The program saves your work so you will not have to complete the entire course at one time.  Remember your username and password to re-enter the course.  

* Once all sections have been completed, the program will administer a final test, and then prompt the student to submit the answers for a grade. 

* Print the report, sign it and bring it with you for admission to a FIELD DAY.  You MUST have the printed report showing your test results to be admitted to a field day. 

* It does not have to be notarized, but must be signed have a passing score of 75% or better.

* Once you have finished the field day you will be issued a temporary certificate showing that you have completed a hunter education course.  You may use this to purchase a license.
