LA Big Game Recognition Program

The Deer Study Leader coordinates the Louisiana Big Game Records Program. The program documents record white-tailed deer harvested in the state that meet or exceed minimum antler size. The record list is updated each fall and is available from LDWF. Every 3 years, a new list of record book deer is  published. Official measurers, persons who were trained at an sanctioned workshop, are located throughout the state to assist with this program.
