Louisiana Bass Tournament Program

New to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, the Louisiana Bass Tournament Program is an organized, mutually beneficial method of collecting bass tournament data. Tournament organizers provide catch data that helps fisheries management efforts. The data is compiled and made available to anyone that wants to know the status of selected bass fisheries in Louisiana.  Anglers will know where to catch the heaviest stringers… or the biggest bass!

Any angler can benefit from the Bass Tournament Program. The 2013 annual report of tournament data is now available below.

Participation is encouraged by bass tournament organizers in Louisiana waters. Please contact Chase Chatelain by email (cchatelain@wlf.la.gov) or phone (318-748-6914) to request report cards or more information. Data can also be submitted online by clicking the Submit Data link above.
