Who:   Louisiana House of Representatives and Senate Natural Resources Committees,
Louisiana Crab Task Force, Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board (LSPMB), Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF)


What:   Crab Education Day  --  Today's Challenges to Crabbers and Crab Managers 


Where:   Pontchartrain Blue Crabs,  38327 Salt Bayou Road,  Slidell, LA 70461


When:   Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, 9:30 a.m  --  3:30 p.m.


Details: Group Welcome at 10 a.m.: Gary Bauer and Pete Petersen, Louisiana Crab Task Force; followed by boat trips to view commercial crabbing and tours of processing plant facilities, packing, cooking and peeling operations; presentations by LDWF staff and comments from LA Crab Task Force members and LSPMB members.
