The Great American Seafood Cook-Off presented by the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board is pleased to announce that all recipes from this year's competition are available on its Web site -- www.greatamericanseafoodcookoff.com.  This year's Cook-Off featured a collection of easy-to-prepare recipes created by celebrity chefs from around the U.S.

To raise awareness on how easy it is to create succulent seafood dishes at home, the Louisiana Seafood Board has added an online drawing for a free dream trip to New Orleans for two seafood lovers.  Individuals can easily enter to win the "Escape to New Orleans" prize package by reviewing recipes and voting for his or her favorite dish at www.greatamericanseafoodcookoff.com.  The contest will run through the month of October, which is designated as National Seafood Month.

"Each year that we present the Great American Seafood Cook-Off we raise awareness about the importance of cooking with seafood harvested from domestic waters and sustainable fisheries," said Ewell Smith, producer of the competition.  "This online contest is an extension of the Cook-Off and a way to celebrate National Seafood Month."

Available recipes include Cornflake and Basil Crusted Alaskan Salmon with Hoisin Sauce (Alaska), Sea Bass Milano (California), Shrimp Ratatouille with Boursin Cheese Grits (Georgia), Steamed Kona Kampachi with Fried Garlic, Tomatoes and Soy Sauce (Hawaii), Potato Crusted Halibut with Corn Salsa (Massachusetts), and Saut? American Red Snapper with Melon and Mango Salad (Louisiana).

The contest's "Escape to New Orleans" prize package includes round trip tickets for two to New Orleans on Southwest Airlines, hotel accommodations for two nights at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel, a cooking class at the celebrated Cookin' Cajun Cooking School, and a selection of dining experiences at some of the city's finest restaurants including Galatoire's, Herbsaint, La Provence, Lke and Muriel's.

The contest runs through Oct. 31, 2007.  Prize package items are subject to blackout dates and availability as noted by the awarding company. A randomly selected entry winner and the winning recipe's chef will be announced in mid-November 2007.  More information is available by visiting www.greatamericanseafoodcookoff.com
