The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) will host the next Mississippi Flyway Council (MFC) Technical Section meeting in Baton Rouge from Feb. 25-29 at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capital Center hotel.

"We meet to consider technical information needs as related to the management of migratory birds and wetland resources."
The 14 states consist of Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee and Wisconsin. Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan make up the three provinces.
