GRASSY LAKE W.M.A. ROADS CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING

Due to rising floodwaters from the Red River, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has temporarily closed all roads on the Grassy Lake Wildlife Management Area.


The roads will be reopened once the floodwaters subside and inspected for any hazards.  Floodwaters are monitored daily and additional closures may be needed prior to the river's crest. 


The Grassy Lake WMA turkey season closed on schedule Sunday, April 6.
