Sept. 19, 2011 – The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries urges all hunters to support Hunters for the Hungry on Clean Out Your Freezer Day set for Sunday, Sept. 25.
As the 2011-12 hunting season gets underway, hunters can donate frozen game to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank in support of the needy within the community. Between 1 and 4 p.m. on Sept. 25, frozen game and fish will be accepted at the following collection points:
