LDWF to Reopen Price Lake Road At Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge on Wednesday

Oct. 3, 2017 – Price Lake Road at Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge will reopen Wednesday morning (Oct. 4), the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries announced. Road repairs have been completed following damage sustained from Hurricane Harvey.
Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge, located in eastern Cameron and western Vermilion Parishes, consists of 76,042 acres. It borders the Gulf of Mexico for 26.5 miles and extends inland toward the Grand Chenier Ridge, a stranded beach ridge six miles from the Gulf.
