LDWF to Hold Hands-on Trapping Workshop in Monroe on Oct. 20

Oct. 5, 2018 - The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) will hold a hands-on trapping workshop at the LDWF Monroe Field Office on Oct. 20 (Saturday).  The workshop is free to attend but registration is required.
 
This workshop is designed to preserve trapping as a management tool, a recreational activity and an economic benefit to Louisiana citizens. Topics include state trapping regulations, trapping equipment, trapping safety, best management practices, trap selection/setting and skinning.
