Hunter Education Class - St. Landry Parish

This is a full 10-hour classroom Hunter Education course. Participants must attend all three classes in order to receive credit for the course. We cover firearm and hunting safety, wildlife management principles, ethics, game identification and outdoor survival. Students must successfully complete a live-fire exercise with both formats. Firearms and ammunition are provided for the live-fire exercise so students should not bring their own.

We ask everyone to practice social distancing of at least 6 feet apart and you must wear a face mask. Students are asked to bring their own facemask/facial covering, pen/pencil, and shooting/safety glasses. If you wear glasses, you do not need safety glasses. Students are not to attend class if they have any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone that has COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
