Louisiana Alligator Advisory Council
The Louisiana Alligator Advisory Council was created in the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) and is responsible for reviewing and approving recommended marketing, research, and educational programs to be funded from the Louisiana Alligator Resource Fund for the specific goals of the council. The Council consists of nine members appointed by the LDWF Secretary. Membership consists of a three farmers, three landowners, and three alligator hunters.
