The Waddill Wildlife Refuge in Baton Rouge has opened a new elevated archery tower, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) announced. The previous tower was heavily damaged by Hurricane Ida in 2021. Office of Wildlife employees from the Monroe Field Office and Education Section constructed the tower.

The refuge is located at 4142 North Flannery Road in Baton Rouge and is opened from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
