Sherburne WMA Shooting Ranges to be Closed on Mondays Beginning Sept. 30
The Sherburne Wildlife Management Area (WMA) Shooting Ranges, including the rifle, pistol, archery and skeet ranges, will be closed on Mondays beginning Sept. 30. This weekly closure is being implemented to facilitate routine maintenance of the ranges.

LDWF Public Shooting Ranges to Undergo Lead Recovery Operations, Intermittent Closures Possible
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) will conduct required lead removal at the Bodcau, Woodworth, Sherburne and Pearl River-Honey Island shooting ranges later this month and into October. Work at each shooting range will be coordinated to minimize impact to the public, however, some closures may be needed during the process.
