Wolf Bay Campground in West Bay WMA Closed Until Further Notice
The Wolf Bay Campground located off Louisiana Highway 112 in West Bay Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Allen Parish is closed until further notice, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) announced. The campground suffered serious tree damage during Hurricane Laura.

Hunters and anglers urged to use caution in Cameron Parish this weekend
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is alerting hunters and anglers to be aware that Cameron Parish continues under mandatory evacuation protocols in the aftermath of Hurricane Laura. A parish-wide curfew remains in place from 8 p.m.to 7 a.m.

LDWF to Begin Accepting Applications for $14.6 Million CARES Act Funds
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries will soon begin accepting applications for $14.6 million in financial assistance that will be available to Louisiana fishermen and others in the industry who have been financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
