This format is recommended for students 14 years of age and older. This online with field day format consists of two parts: an online class that can be taken at the student’s own pace, followed by a 5-hour field-day class. The online portion of this course costs $34.95 through the online course provider. You MUST print, sign, and bring proof of online course completion with you to the field day.
Additional Information
Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries will be hosting a Hunter Education Field Day in St. Mary Parish. The field day course will be on December 2, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Students must bring proof of completing the online course in order to attend. The field day will consist of shooting live firearms, a brief lecture, and a final T/F 50 question test.
