Menhaden Buffer Zone
The menhaden fishery has a one-half-mile coastwide buffer, with an additional 1-mile buffer at Grand Terre, Elmers Island, and Holly Beach. An extended three-mile buffer exists at Grand Isle. Below are maps and downloadable files with the coordinates of these buffer zones.
