CCA Louisiana, CITGO, and LDWF to Construct Two New Artificial Reefs in Lake Charles / Big Lake
Lake Charles, La., - The Coastal Conservation Association of Louisiana (CCA Louisiana), CITGO, and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) will hold a press conference on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM to announce the construction of two new nearshore artificial reefs along the Louisiana coast — both made possible through generous grant funding from CITGO and LDWF. Media, elected officials, CCA members, project partners, and the public are encouraged to attend.
