The Catahoula Lake Diversion Canal boat launch at Dewey W. Wills Wildlife Management Area (WMA) remains closed as the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) makes repairs. The launch experienced damage due to erosion and is unsafe for use.
LDWF will announce when it is repaired and ready for use.
Hunters can access the lake via the public boat launches at Stock Landing, French Fork and Old River.
