The Catahoula Parish Police Jury has closed the Duty Ferry Parish Road south of the ferry entrance due to flooding, forcing the closure of Pipeline Road and Rock Lake Road in Boeuf Wildlife Management Area (WMA), the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries announced.
 
The closure of Duty Ferry Parish Road will affect access to the Crowe Field area of Boeuf WMA. Access by boat is still allowed.
 
Boeuf WMA, which consists of 51,110 acres, is located 10 miles southeast of Columbia in Caldwell and Catahoula parishes. For more information, go to http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/wma/32649 .
