Pearl River WMA Old Highway 11 Reopened

- Old Highway 11 on Pearl River WMA has reopened after the Pearl River has fallen below 16.5 feet, LDWF announced.  The Old Highway 11 road closes when the Pearl River gauge reaches 16.5 feet, and reopens once levels recede below that level and roads are inspected and deemed safe.

Pearl River WMA, which consists of 35,618 acres, is located approximately 6 miles east of Slidell, LA, and 1 mile east of Pearl River, LA, in St. Tammany Parish and includes bottomland hardwood, cypress-tupelo, and intermediate marsh habitats.  Visit the Pearl River WMA webpage for more information. https://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/page/pearl-river
