The Blue Line Handicapped ATV/UTV trail on Big Lake Wildlife Management Area is closed due to repairs being made on the trail, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) announced. Replacement of structures on the trail are required where severe erosion has occurred.
 
It will reopen once the repairs are completed.
 
Big Lake WMA, which consists of 19,231 acres, is located in Franklin, Madison and Tensas parishes approximately 12 miles east of Gilbert. For more information on Big Lake WMA, go to http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/wma/32646 .
