The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) is accepting applications for dove lottery hunts at Elbow Slough Wildlife Management Area (WMA) during the 2017 hunting season.
 
Elbow Slough WMA is located near the intersection of U.S. Highway 1 and Louisiana Highway 3170 in Rapides Parish. The hunts will be conducted Sept. 2-3.

Successful applicants will be selected by a random computer drawing. Applications for the lottery hunts must be submitted to LDWF by close of business (4:30 pm) on Aug. 11. A $5 administrative fee must be submitted with each application.
