The Bayou Natchitoches bridge leading to Cas Cas Road on Grassy Lake Wildlife Management Area (WMA) has been closed. Recent inspection by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development revealed issues with the bridge, requiring it to be closed to all traffic immediately.
The bridge is owned and managed by Avoyelles Parish. Grassy Lake WMA will remain open, however, the bridge will be closed until repairs are completed.
Grassy Lake WMA is located in northeastern Avoyelles Parish, approximately 12 miles from Bordelonville, Louisiana.
