The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has opened several roads in the Richard K. Yancey Wildlife Management Area, including Wycoff Road, Sunk Road, Silver Lake Road and Hunt Road.
Roads that remain closed due to flooding include Lac a Solstein Road, Goose Lake Road, Blount Road, Catfish Bayou Road, Hogpen Road, Lincecum Road, Jacks Bayou Road, Union Point Road, Blackhawk Road, Blackhawk boat launch and Dobbs Bay Roads.
In addition, all ATV trails remain closed.
Richard K. Yancey WMA is located approximately 35 miles south of Ferriday on Louisiana Highway 15 in lower Concordia Parish.
