The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has closed all roads on Bogue Chitto Wildlife Management Area (WMA) due to flooding. Once the water recedes and conditions allow, the roads will be reopened.
Bogue Chitto WMA, which consists of 1,643 acres and is located approximately 10 miles south of Franklinton, consists of bottomland hardwood, cypress-tupelo and upland pine habitats. Click here for more information on Bogue Chitto WMA.
