The Sherburne Wildlife Management Area (WMA) shooting ranges, including the rifle, pistol, archery and skeet ranges, will reopen Friday (Aug. 20).
While renovation work on the ranges is not complete, remaining work will be done on Mondays when the ranges are closed.
The Sherburne WMA shooting ranges are located at 1132 Sherburne Road near Lottie. From U.S. Highway 190, take the Sherburne exit to Louisiana Highway 975 and drive south approximately three miles. From I-10, take the Whiskey Bay exit and drive north approximately 13 miles on Louisiana Highway 975.
