The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has reopened Shop Road on Russell Sage Wildlife Management Area (WMA) to vehicle traffic. However, Main Road is still partially closed 2.2 miles from Millhaven exit due to severe washouts in the road.
Access to the Pump Trail is available from Ruby Road entrance.
Russell Sage WMA consists of 38,213 acres in Ouachita Parish and is located about seven miles east of Monroe and 10 miles west of Rayville. For more information on this WMA, go to http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/wma/2777.
