The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is seeking leads about a road grader that was vandalized on the Dewey Wills Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in LaSalle Parish.

The road grader was used on June 26 when it over heated and couldn’t be moved to its secured storage area.  It was left on the side of Hunt Road on the WMA with the cab of the grader locked overnight.

The 2011 John Deere road grader was vandalized sometime between 5:30 p.m. on June 26 and 7 a.m. on June 27.  The road grader sustained shattered glass to the front windshield, left side door window and both rear view mirrors from somebody throwing rocks.  The estimated damages is over $5,000.

Anyone with information regarding the vandalism to this road grader on the Dewey Wills WMA should call Louisiana Operation Game Thief (LOGT) at 1-800-442-2511 or use LDWF’s tip411 program.
