The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) will close Union Point Road to all traffic on the Richard K. Yancey Wildlife Management Area (WMA) for repairs Monday (Sept. 18).

The repair project, for culvert installation, is expected to take three weeks.

Once the project is complete, LDWF will inspect and reopen the road when safe for travel.
