Woodworth Shooting Range Closures Announced for May 2 and May 9

Baton Rouge, Apr 28, 2026 - The Woodworth Shooting Range will be closed all day Saturday (May 2) and from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on May 9, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) announced. These closures are necessary to facilitate LDWF’s Families Understanding Nature (FUN) Camp and Rifle 101 events.
