Renovation work on the Woodworth Shooting Range in Rapides Parish has been completed and the range will open Thursday (April 14), the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) announced.
Users are advised that there will be some closures this weekend due to Easter holidays. See below for the holiday weekend schedule.
Thursday, April 14: Open
Friday, April 15: Closed
Saturday, April 16: Rifle range open Noon- 5 p.m.
Pistol range open 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Sunday, April 17: Closed
Normal days and hours of operation will resume beginning April 21.
The renovation work is part of a statewide LDWF shooting range improvement initiative.
