Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) enforcement agents arrested a subject for alleged hunting and illegal firearm possession violations in Bienville Parish on Sept. 28.

Agents cited Dennis J. Laborde, 44, of Ringgold, for hunting while under hunting license suspension, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, illegal use of a firearm, and hunting without a basic hunting license.

Agents were on patrol when they observed Laborde hog hunting at night near Lake Bistineau. Agents arrested Laborde and booked him into the Bienville Parish Detention Center.
