The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries' Office of Management and Finance (OMF) was honored with the Louisiana Quality Foundation (LQF) Level II Award at the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission today. This is the agency's second award from the LQF. In 2019, the agency received the Louisiana Quality Foundation's Level I award.

LDWF Secretary Tyler Bosworth said, "My vision for LDWF is to transform LDWF into a professional service organization with a standard of excellence that people of Louisiana deserve. This award demonstrates our progress toward that goal."

The Louisiana Quality Foundation (LQF) is a nonprofit organization that equips leaders with the knowledge to redesign their organizations into innovative, high-performing, reliable, sustainable, and resilient, nationally recognized entities. The redesign is based on the Baldrige Excellence Framework, a proven international blueprint for transitioning into performance excellence. It's considered the "gold standard" for performance excellence.

To attain the Level 2 award, OMF demonstrated achievement of the award benchmarks against the internationally recognized ADLI framework (Approach, Deploy, Learn, and Integrate).  LQF examiners and judges conducted a site visit in November 2025 and later provided their feedback report supporting this award.
