With modernization, accessibility, and easier navigation as the primary objectives, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) is pleased to announce the debut of its new website Thursday (April 16). The site will have several new features to enhance users’ ability in quickly finding what they need.

“Much effort has gone into the creation of our sleek, new, modernized website built to better serve the people of Louisiana,’’ LDWF Secretary Tyler Bosworth said. “We want to make it accessible and easy as possible for our sportsmen and women to find what they’re looking for when they visit us online, whether its via their phone, tablet, or desktop.’’

One of the improved tools with the site will be the “Contact Us” page. It features more contacts per division, making it simpler to find the subject matter expert on a given program. It also has greater Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compatibility that meets the upcoming required standards.
