The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) and the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) partner to enable customers to register their boats and trailers at a single location. Due to staffing issues, OMV must shorten its hours at LDWF on Mondays.  Beginning today, the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) representative will be at LDWF headquarters at 2000 Quail Drive in Baton Rouge every Monday from 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to assist with boat trailer registrations.

The Louisiana Department of Revenue has a representative available on Mondays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at LDWF headquarters to process tax payments for customers registering boats.

Customers are able to complete the registration process without having to go to multiple agencies. Mondays provide a great one-stop shop for new and used boat owners at LDWF headquarters.

OMV representatives can only assist guests with trailer registration services while at LDWF. Customers can also visit OMV field offices and Public Tag Agents for registration services. Visit OMV's Express Lane to view a complete list of OMV offices and online services.
