Boater Ed Class - Rapides

This free boating course usually lasts between 6 and 8 hours. Participants usually complete the course in one day. The course includes information on choosing a boat, classification, hulls, motors, legal and equipment requirements, navigation rules, navigation charts, trailering, sailboats, and related subjects that include canoeing, personal watercraft and more. Participants who complete the course will receive a Boater Education Certificate.

Free Boater’s Education Course -Required to operate a vessel with a motor excess 10 horsepower -Required if born on or after January 1st, 1984 -Must be 10 years of age to receive credit -Will provide lunch -Students are encouraged to bring SERVICABLE lifejackets that are not currently being used to trade or donate to the life jacket drive.
