This online with field day format consists of two parts: an online class that can be taken at the student’s own pace, followed by a 3 to 5-hour field-day class. You MUST print, sign, and bring proof of online course completion with you to the field day.
Special Instructions
This home-study format consists of two parts: an online class, followed by a mandatory Field Day course for thouse who are 15 years of age and younger. All students must complete the online portion prior to the Field Day course scheduled, and bring the online certificate of completion printed and signed to attend Field Day training to be certified. The Field Day course is to ensure students can demonstrate proper firearm handling skills in a safe and respectful manner. Participants who complete and pass the field day training will be certified the same day with a temporary Hunter's Safety Education Certificate. A permanent certification will be emailed to the email address used at registration. You must attend the entire course. The course will include a 50 question T/F test and live fire session. Students are NOT to bring any firearms to the course. All firearms and other materials will be provided. Students may bring their own eye and ear protection if they would like.
