The Louisiana Fur Advisory Council will hold a seminar for fur trappers Oct. 15, 2016, at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) Woodworth Outdoor Education Center in Woodworth.
 
The free seminar will run from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The featured speaker will be Jason White, president of Northwest Company’s wild fur division. Several other speakers will be on hand, including a representative of the Fur Advisory Council and fur marketing consultant Brent Poley. There will also be a roundtable discussion period.
 
No registration is required and anyone interested in learning more about Louisiana fur trapping is welcome. Lunch will be provided.
