Hunt Road Bridge on Dewey W. Wills WMA Closed for Repairs, LDWF Announces

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has closed Hunt Road Bridge at Dewey W. Wills Wildlife Management Area (WMA) for repairs.

The closure is to perform structural repairs on the bridge and is expected to last approximately five days. Weather and unforeseen issues could prolong the closure.  The public will be able to access the area south of Hunt Road Bridge via Sandy Bayou and Muddy Bayou roads.

 Dewey W. Wills WMA is located in the southern portion of LaSalle and Catahoula parishes in central Louisiana approximately 20 miles northeast of Alexandria. Click here for more information on the WMA.
