The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has re-opened Lac a Sostien, Catfish Bayou and Blount roads in the Richard K. Yancey Wildlife Management Area (WMA). Dobbs Bay Road and all roads on the Mississippi River batture remain closed due to flooding.

Once the water recedes on those roads, LDWF will inspect, repair and reopen them when deemed safe for travel.

Richard K. Yancey WMA is located approximately 35 miles south of Ferriday on Louisiana Highway 15 in lower Concordia Parish.
