The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) is accepting applications for deer lottery hunts for the 2016-17 season to be held on Louisiana Office of State Parks Property. The hunts will be conducted at the Coochie Brake tract in Winn Parish.
The hunts will be conducted Oct. 21-23, Dec. 2-4 and Jan. 20-22.
Applications are available on the LDWF website at http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/hunting/lottery-hunts and must be received in the LDWF Baton Rouge office by 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 16. Details on the qualifications, application requirements and dates of the hunts are listed on the application forms.
These special hunts are restricted to hunters selected through the lottery application process. The application form, along with a $5 administrative fee payment, must be sent to the specific address listed on the form.
