Nov. 20, 2019 – The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) would like to reminds all users of Atchafalaya Delta Wildlife Management Area (WMA), Biloxi WMA, Lake Boeuf WMA, Pass-a-Loutre WMA, Pointe-aux-Chenes WMA and Salvador/Timken WMA that, effective for the 2019-2020 hunting season, you must check in and check out daily for all activities on the WMAs through either LDWF WMA Self-Clearing Permits (SCP), the LDWF WMA SCP app or the LDWF WMA check-in/check-out web portal.
Information kiosk locations for each WMA can be found under the specific WMA listing of the 2019-20 LDWF hunting regulations pamphlet or on LDWF WMA maps. The LDWF WMA app is available from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for your Apple or Android device. The LDWF WMA app will allow users to check in electronically via their smart device. The LDWF WMA check-in/check-out web portal can be found at http://wmacheckincheckout.wlf.la.gov/Authentication/Login?ReturnUrl=%2f.
