The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has reopened all roads in the Joyce and Maurepas Swamp Wildlife Management Areas with the exception of a portion of Boyce Tower Road on Maurepas Swamp WMA. That portion of the road, closed near the bridge on Boyce Tower Road, is expected to be opened later this week.

The roads in these WMAs have been closed since March 15 due to flooding caused by heavy rain.
