The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has closed the southern end of Oil Well Road at the Pearl River Wildlife Management Area due to flooding on the Pearl River.
Once the flooding recedes, LDWF will inspect and repair any damage and reopen the road.
Pearl River WMA, which consists of 35,618 acres, is located approximately six miles east of Slidell and one mile east of Pearl River in St. Tammany Parish.
