The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is informing WMA users that Sandy Bayou Road and Muddy Bayou Road on Dewey W. Wills Wildlife Management Area (WMA) are open to all traffic.  Unsafe conditions created from backwater flooding have been repaired.

Alligator Bayou Road is still closed and a portion of upper Hunt Road remains closed at this time. 
 
Dewey W. Wills WMA is located in the southern portion of LaSalle and Catahoula parishes in central Louisiana approximately 20 miles northeast of Alexandria. For more information on the WMA, go to: http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/wma/2753 .
