The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is advising Richard K. Yancey Wildlife Management Area (WMA) users that Hog
Pen Lake Road and Lac A’Sostein Road within the WMA are currently closed to all traffic.
Increasing water levels in the Red River have caused backwater flooding on these roads. Once the water recedes, vehicular traffic will be allowed.
Richard K. Yancey WMA is located in Concordia Parish, approximately 35 miles south of Ferriday on LA Hwy. 15.
