The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has reopened South Bayou Natchitoches Road from the entrance of the Grassy Lake Wildlife Management Area (WMA) to the Bayou de Sot Culvert to vehicle traffic. All other roads and trails remain closed on the WMA due to flooding.
Once the water recedes on other WMA roads, LDWF will inspect, repair and reopen those thoroughfares.
Grassy Lake WMA is located in northeastern Avoyelles Parish, approximately 12 miles from Bordelonville, Louisiana.
